1. Brahata finds out his father is dead and that his brother has been exiled.
2. Brahata performs funeral rites for his father.
3. Brahata leaves town to find his brother and tell him to come back
4. Rama refuses to go but gives him a pair of sandals. Brahata also refuses to go back without his father.
5. Rama visits the ashram of many stages and Sita tells Anasuya how she was born.
6. Rama and Lankshama go to battle with a demon who can't be punctured by weapons because it kidnaps Sita. The demon is actually cursed and is connected to Rama.
7. Rama meets Agastya. Agastya receives weapons from Agastya and he offers Rama to stay with him. Rama refuses because he wants to continue into the forest.
8. Ravana's sister falls in love with Rama but Rama doesn't like her back. Rama thinks it would be funny to tell the sister to fall in love with her brother.
9. The sister does not think it's funny and attacks Rama, she also tells her brother about what happened and he also doesn't like the joke.
10. As promised, Khara, having been driven back by Rama once already, now mounts another attack.
11. Rama defeats the sister in the forest then shurpanakha goes to tell Ravana about what has happened.
12. Ravana seeks Marichas for help. Marichas is the son of Thatka who Rama killed.
13. Ravana's plan works and sita is enchanted by the golden deer
14. Mariach is able to disguise himself as the golden deer and he's able to imitate Ramas voice
15. Ravan changes his shape so he's able to get close to Sita while Rama and Lakshmana are away.
16. Ravan kidnaps Sita but Sita leaves a trail of jewelry for Rama to find he can kill him. Brahma smiles because this is all going to plan
17.Ravana tries to rape Sita but he cannot because there is a curse against him so he tries to get her to consensually sleep with him.
18. Rama finds out the Sita is taken and goes after her
19. Rama encounters another rakshasa who gives him valuable information about Sita
20. Rama meets a woman who has been waiting on him for a while and asks him to read her, her funeral rights.
